MUCOSAN - Multi-Symptom Cough Medicine | 4 Fl Oz | 1-Pack

• OTC COUGH AND CONGESTION MEDICINE: Each 5 mL contains dextromethorphan HBr 10 mg (cough suppressant), guaifenesin 100 mg (expectorant), and phenylephrine HCl 5 mg (nasal decongestant).
• DRUG FACTS USES: Helps loosen phlegm and thin bronchial secretions to drain the bronchial tubes. Temporarily relieves nasal congestion and cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation associated with a cold.
• DIRECTIONS: Adults and children 12 years and over: 10 mL every 4 hours. Children under 12 years: do not use. Do not take more than 6 doses in 24 hours; measure only with the included cup.
• IMPORTANT WARNINGS: Do not use with a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or for 2 weeks after stopping one. Ask a doctor before use if you have any condition listed in Drug Facts. Stop use and ask a doctor if reactions occur or symptoms persist.
• PACKAGE: 4 fl oz (118 mL) bottle. Read and follow the complete Drug Facts before use.

Inactive ingredients and storage

Anhydrous citric acid, FD&C red #40, flavor, glycerin, menthol, propylene glycol, purified water, sodium benzoate, sorbitol solution and sucralose.

Store at 15–30 °C (59–86 °F); do not refrigerate. Measure only with the included dosing cup and keep it with the bottle. Read the full product label before use; this guide does not replace its warnings.

Warnings to review

• Do not use with a prescription MAOI or within 2 weeks of stopping one.
• Ask a doctor before use for heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid disease, persistent cough or excessive phlegm.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use with other oral nasal decongestants or stimulants.
• Stop use and ask a doctor for nervousness, dizziness or sleeplessness; symptoms that do not improve within 7 days or occur with fever; or persistent or returning cough with fever, rash or persistent headache.
• For formulas labeled for ages 12 and over, also ask about trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate; ask a health professional before use during pregnancy or breast-feeding.
