MUCOSAN - Honey-Flavor Cough & Congestion Medicine | 4 Fl Oz | 1-Pack

• OTC COUGH AND CONGESTION MEDICINE: Each 5 mL contains dextromethorphan HBr 10 mg (cough suppressant), guaifenesin 100 mg (expectorant), and phenylephrine HCl 5 mg (nasal decongestant).
• DRUG FACTS USES: Helps loosen phlegm and thin bronchial secretions to drain the bronchial tubes. Temporarily relieves nasal congestion and cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation associated with a cold.
• DIRECTIONS: Adults and children 12 years and over: 10 mL every 4 hours. Children under 12 years: do not use. Do not take more than 6 doses in 24 hours; measure only with the included cup.
• IMPORTANT WARNINGS: Do not use with a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or for 2 weeks after stopping one. Ask a doctor before use if you have any condition listed in Drug Facts. Stop use and ask a doctor if reactions occur or symptoms persist.
• PACKAGE: Honey flavor, 4 fl oz (118 mL) bottle. Honey is listed as an inactive ingredient, not an active ingredient. Read and follow the complete Drug Facts before use.

Inactive ingredients and storage

Anhydrous citric acid, FD&C yellow #6, flavor, glycerin, honey, propylene glycol, purified water, sodium benzoate, sorbitol solution, sucralose and xanthan gum.

Warnings to review

• Do not use with a prescription MAOI or within 2 weeks of stopping one.
• Ask a doctor before use for heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid disease, persistent cough or excessive phlegm.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use with other oral nasal decongestants or stimulants.
• Stop use and ask a doctor for nervousness, dizziness or sleeplessness; symptoms that do not improve within 7 days or occur with fever; or persistent or returning cough with fever, rash or persistent headache.
• For formulas labeled for ages 12 and over, also ask about trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate; ask a health professional before use during pregnancy or breast-feeding.
