The label indicates temporary relief of occasional minor irritation, mouth pain, sore throat and pain associated with canker sores.
Inactive ingredients
Citric acid, FD&C Red No. 40, flavor, glycerin, propylene glycol, sodium citrate, saccharin sodium and water.
Directions and ages
Apply five sprays to the affected area. Leave in place for at least 15 seconds, then spit out. Use every 2 hours or as directed by a doctor or dentist. Do not exceed the directions.
Children under 12 need supervision when using the product. For children under 3, consult a doctor or dentist; do not administer unless directed by a doctor.
Warnings to review
A severe or persistent sore throat, or one accompanied by high fever, headache, nausea and vomiting, may be serious: consult a doctor promptly. Do not use for more than 2 days unless directed by a doctor.
Stop use and consult a doctor if mouth symptoms do not improve within 7 days; irritation, pain or redness persists or worsens; or swelling, rash, fever or difficulty breathing occurs.
If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. For an accidental overdose, seek professional help or contact Poison Control immediately.
Storage and safety seal
Store at room temperature. Do not use if the printed safety seal is torn, broken or missing. Check the lot, expiration date and label on the package you receive.
