Daily Values (% DV) transcribed from the label for adults and children 4 years and over. † Daily Value not established. Percentages marked with an asterisk on the label are based on a 2,000-calorie diet.
Total and added sugars
The 4 g of added sugars are already included in the 4 g of listed sugars; do not add them together as 8 g. The ingredient list includes corn syrup. This format is therefore not described as sugar-free.
Iron and hemoglobin are separate label entries
Supplement Facts lists iron as iron bisglycinate chelate: 0.8 mg per serving. Hemoglobin appears under other ingredients without an individual amount. The label also does not give an individual amount for malt extract. Do not assign a concentration that is not on the container.
Reading the percentages
The % DV column reproduces the printed Daily Values for adults and children 4 years and over. A percentage is not a promise of an outcome or a replacement for directions. If you take medication or are under a physician’s care, the label says to consult before use.
