BISOLVINE ALOE-MIEL - Cough Syrup | 6 Fl Oz

Key Drug Facts

OTC syrup with dextromethorphan HBr 10 mg and guaifenesin 100 mg in each 15 mL.

• Active ingredients: dextromethorphan HBr 10 mg (cough suppressant) and guaifenesin 100 mg (expectorant) in each 15 mL.
• Label uses: temporarily relieves cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation associated with the common cold; helps loosen phlegm and thin bronchial secretions to make coughs more productive.
• Label directions: adults and children 12 years and over, 30 mL every 4 hours; do not exceed 6 doses in 24 hours. Children under 12: consult a doctor.
• Size: 6 fl oz (180 mL); contains 0.15% alcohol.

Warnings and ingredients

• Do not use with a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), or for 2 weeks after stopping it. If unsure, ask a doctor or pharmacist.
• Do not use for persistent or chronic cough, or cough with excessive phlegm, unless directed by a doctor. Consult a doctor if cough lasts more than a week, returns, or occurs with fever, rash or persistent headache.
• If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. For accidental overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Inactive ingredients: Aloe leaf extract, ascorbic acid, caramel color, cat’s claw bark extract, corn syrup, DATEM, ethyl alcohol, eucalyptus oil, flavor, garlic bulb extract, ginger root extract, gum arabic, honey, menthol, methylparaben, onion bulb extract, peppermint leaf extract, polysorbate 80, potassium sorbate, propylene glycol, propylparaben, sodium benzoate, sucralose, sunflower oil and water.

Aloe-Miel lists 0.15% alcohol. Aloe and honey appear among the inactive ingredients; they do not replace the two drug active ingredients.
