Anti-Empacho is a liquid antacid with sodium bicarbonate as the active ingredient.

• Active ingredient: sodium bicarbonate 525 mg (6.25 mEq) per tablespoonful (15 mL).
• Uses listed in Drug Facts: relief of heartburn, acid indigestion, sour stomach, and upset stomach due to these symptoms.
• Size: 8 fl oz (240 mL) bottle.
• Labeled age: adults and children 12 years of age and older. Do not use in children under 12.
• Before use: review dosage, interactions, and all warnings, especially if you take prescription medicine or follow a sodium-restricted diet.

Use only as directed in Drug Facts and do not exceed the recommended dose.

Drug Facts directions

Adults and children 12 years and older: 1 tablespoonful (15 mL), 2 or 3 times a day. Do not use in children under 12. Follow the label on the package you receive and do not exceed the maximum recommended dose in 24 hours. Do not use the maximum dose for more than 2 weeks except under a physician’s advice and supervision.

Sodium and precautions

Each 15 mL contains 144 mg sodium. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you take prescription medicines, have abdominal pain, nausea or other symptoms of appendicitis, or follow a sodium-restricted diet. Antacids may interact with certain prescription medicines. If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a health professional before use.

Keep out of reach of children. For accidental overdose, seek professional help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

Inactive ingredients

Alcohol, glycerin, methylparaben, peppermint extract natural flavor, propylene glycol, propylparaben, rhubarb root extract and water.

Store between 15 and 30 °C (59–86 °F). Do not use if the printed safety seal over the cap is torn, broken or missing.
