How to read 15 mL
Drug Facts gives the active ingredient and sodium amounts per 15 mL, and the directions define a tablespoonful as 15 mL. Bottle volume should not be turned into a promise of treatment days.
Adults and children 12 years and older: 1 tablespoonful (15 mL), 2 or 3 times a day. Do not use in children under 12. Follow the label on the package you receive and do not exceed the maximum recommended dose in 24 hours. Do not use the maximum dose for more than 2 weeks except under a physician’s advice and supervision.
When receiving and storing the bottle
Store between 15 and 30 °C (59–86 °F). Do not use if the printed safety seal over the cap is torn, broken or missing.
Keep out of reach of children. For accidental overdose, seek professional help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
